If you use Kali Linux operating system then you can see that the software used in Kali Linux contain .py format file that means these are python script file which written in python language which use in software making.

Why you should learn python: 

If you belong to technical field you should learn the thing which currently going on. Python currently one of the highest used language. So, you have some knowledge about the python. Also, for the view of knowledge, you should learn the new thing which going on.
